Regarding the commitment to support the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) and Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) programs, on Wednesday, July 31, 2024, PT Transcoal Pacific, Tbk (“TCP”) once again actively participated in supporting education by providing CSR assistance in the form of computer devices and school supplies to 2 (two) orphanages in the Sangatta area.
The orphanages that received CSR assistance from TCP are:
- Ar-Rahmah Orphanage
- Harapan Bangsa Lentera Bercahaya Orphanage
In his speech, Mr. Benhauser Manik, a representative of TCP, motivated and encouraged the children residing in the orphanages to always study diligently, have high aspirations, show respect and gratitude to the orphanage management who act as parental figures, and to always be grateful so that they will become a brilliant generation of successors for the nation and be beneficial to others.
The leader of the orphanage also expressed gratitude towards TCP for providing assistance in the form of computer devices (PC), which will be very useful in supporting school assignments. In this era of digitalization, it is essential for children to master technology so they can keep up with their ambitions.
The leader, along with the children from the orphanage, also prayed for the well-being of TCP, wishing for continued ease in conducting its business, zero accidents, prosperous employees, and beneficial contributions to the environment.
